What are the components of a septic system?
The components of a septic system may include: The Septic Tank with Inlet and outlet baffles (filters) and general access riser, A Pump tank with pump, Aerobic Tank with an aerobic pump and a Drainfield.

How often should I pump my septic tank?
Depending on the number of people in your household, and the size and age of your septic system, you should pump your tank every 2-3 years (more often if you use a garbage disposal).

How do I access my septic tank?
Most household septic systems have between 1 to 5 lids that are rised to grade, or slightly below the surface of the ground, and need to be exposed.

Should I know where my septic tank is located?
It is important to know the location of each component of your septic system for multiple reasons. Some of these reasons include:

Cleaning and maintenance of the system, Prevention of driving or moving vehicles or heavy machinery over septic system, keeping shrubs, trees, and overgrowth from harming your system, and Adding an addition to your residence such as another room, porch or walkway.

Where is my tank?
It could be anywhere around your house. Contact us with questions regarding your specific site.

How do we locate tanks?
Probing the ground with a bar or using an electronic locating device.

My pump alarm is going off. Why?
The liquid level in the pump tank is either too high or too low, or an electrical problem exists in your system. You might try checking the circuit breakers.

What do you do when the main line is plugged?
We clean the blockage in the line with a cable or jetter.

What is a jetter?
A high-pressure water jetter is used to clean drain lines and drain field laterals.

What is a sewer camera?
This is a video camera put into the pipe to inspect the problem so we can look at it on a television monitor/video tape.
